Melanie Nossiter

From a longstanding career in the Banking, Finance and Insurance Industries, Mel followed her lifelong passion for Real Estate and entered the Industry in 2015.  Mel’s extensive Business Management knowledge and friendly, professional demeanor, puts her in great stead to assist Principal, Nick Cowley, in leading their Ray White Hobart team to ongoing success.

Being an experienced and licensed Property Representative herself, Mel has been a Property Portfolio Manager and Strata Manager previously.  She has earned Financial Services Regulation Accreditation, RG146 General Insurance Tier 2 Insurance Accreditation, has been enrolled in Certificate IV of Business Administration and is currently studying her Diploma of Property (Agency Management).

Outside the Office when Mel’s not spending time with her trio of young adult children, she always has a project or two on the go.  Mel has a flair for renovating, landscaping and redecorating properties and has been involved in many large-scale projects, including Owner Building where she successfully completed the CBOS approved Tasmanian Owner Builder course.

Mel enjoys the rural lifestyle and has an enthusiastic interest in horticulture, particularly viniculture and olive growing.  Mel has recently established her own boutique Olive Grove for long term quality local production of Arbequina Olives. Being Tasmanian born and raised, Mel has a strong knowledge of the trends of the local market and has strong ties to the Derwent Valley, Huon Valley and the South Arm Peninsula.
